Heyyya ! I know, a long hiatus from this world is a little too much ! But bear with me, since i will TRY to feed you with the best and most interesting things happening around me. Haha. Don't ask me why i created another blog ( As if you are going to ask anyway ! o.O ) . Alright, just a brief update about my current situation.
I am currently pursuing my tertiary education in INTI International College, Subang Jaya under the American Degree Transfer Program ( AUP) .My intended major is Materials Science and Engineering ( What on Earth was that ? ) . Wikipedia will answer all your questions on my behalf ! So, if everything goes smooth, i would heading to the States in the following Spring, which would be in January 2014. Life is good, so far. There were too many things happened just within these few months. From staying away from my comfort zone till gaining a new circle of friends in college. To be honest, i am having a love hate relationship with my life here. No major issues here though. My current aim is to obtain a good pointer in order to transfer to a good university for my major which requires a lot of hardwork. No joke, but you gotta really put in A HELL OF A LOT OF effort in AUP. My semester was rather disastrous just because i had the worst combination of subjects of all. Obviously, my GPA was bad . So i am putting in all the effort i could for this semester in order to pull my CGPA up and also to maintain my scholarship. Crap, my scholarship is suspended for a semester, currently.
Never in my wildest thoughts, i actually wanted to be a residential assistant but again, things are not meant to be expected, so yeah, i am the RA for my hostel. Great power comes with great responsibilities and great BENEFITS. Yes, i do get rebates and free vacuum service for my room twice a month. It's not that bad after all eh ? My housemates are all great and fun people. They are from all over the places in Malaysia and even from foreign countries. I had Korean, China, Indonesian and Sri Lankan housemates which turned out to be one of the most enriching experience that i ever had. It gave me a whole idea of how it feels like to live with a bunch of international students which i will be experiencing while in the States. Nevertheless, i do have a few Ipoh friends here and even a junior from my high school ! Awesome-ness overloaded ! Heeeh ! Oh and i became a tutor for my Calculus 2 during the last semester.Yeah, my lecturer assigned me to be one of the tutors for the class because we were doing fairly good in class and exams. Eventually, my tutee became one of my good friends in college . See how things worked out miraculously ?
However, life here is tormenting especially when you don't have scrumptious and delicious food here. I mean, nothing beats Ipoh food. And not to mention, food here is slightly more pricey. At times, i don't even get to have proper meals and also considering the fact that i had to keep my budget on tight. Alright, i am just kidding. I do get good food here but that would be a rare case. My definition of 'good food' is that you get a good meal by paying reasonable price. Other than that, everything just perfectly fine. Malls here are huge compared to Ipoh's Jusco, Aeon and Parade. Standard of living in KL is well known for being high . In INTI, you get to see free fashion shows at times. Branded apparels, footwears and accessories are way too common here and it took me some time to get used to it. Pretty much that what i had been through for the past few months. Will keep you people updated soon. :)
